Change your sync options to manual. Open your Zune program and click on settings>device>settings>sync options>I will add and remove videos, music, and pictures myself>ok.
Then when you want to sync your stuff do it individually.
you will NOT be charged. i did the zune pass trial and once the trial was over it never activated. as long as you don't sign up for it, it wont start charging you. this is unless they changed something in the last 6 months. just let the trial expire and go from there.......it will not automatically renew itself.

Put the songs that you want on your Zune into a separate folder from the rest of the songs on the desktop. Zune only checks monitored folders. As long as the songs you don't want on there are in a different folder they won't get added to your collection.
When you install the program on the desktop-if you haven't done so already-select the option during setup that lets you choose the monitored folders later. Set your sync options to manual then go and set up the folders. Make sure to only include the folders that will contain the files you want on your Zune.

or Vista: Same thing with Start>Control Panel. (now a little more)- Under Programs you select uninstall a program. Scroll down, select Zune, then next to ' Organize / View', 'Uninstall' should pop up. Click it, then bam- it's gone!

Then just select it from the list and uninstall it. This is for XP, if you have Vista it might be different.

It's the best program I have found. Other things such as torrents or limewire the folders often comes zipped so it can contain many other potentially harmful things. Graboid states on their site that they are a legal form of download.

as long as your movie/video is in MP4 or WMV format like you say, there should be no problem loading it to the software. if the video is in any folder other than "my videos" folder, it needs to be mapped. go to settings and the first page should be a place where you can add folders to be monitored for music/pics/ and videos....click add folder, and map the location of that video. once this is done, it should automatically load to the software, then it is just a matter of syncing with your zune.
the zune hd has some great features over the ipod touch. including an oled screen, tegra, and very good sound quality. the ipod touch has a 3.5" screen while the zune has a 3.3", the ipod has a massive apps store, while the zune...doesnt. i would get the zune because of the oled screen, hd radio, tegra, and superior sound quality. but thats just me
